James Fishback
Fourth-Generation Floridian for Governor
Born January 1, 1995, in Davie, Florida. His mother immigrated from Colombia. His father ran a landscaping business for 20 years.

The Story
Then the 2010 Haitian earthquake happened. Obama's temporary protected status program allowed 100,000 Haitian migrants to stay and work. They competed for manual labor jobs.
His father's business collapsed. The Fishback family went on food stamps. They nearly went bankrupt.
This personal experience drives everything about his campaign. He knows what it's like to watch your family's livelihood disappear because of policies that put foreigners ahead of Americans.
Florida is our home; America is our birthright; and we will never let them steal it from us.
Career
Dropped out of Georgetown University at 21 to pursue finance.
Founded Incubate Debate, a high school debate league fighting ideological bias.
Worked at hedge fund Greenlight Capital. Founded Azoria Partners, an investment firm. Launched the Azoria 500 Meritocracy ETF, which excludes companies with DEI policies.
Why He's Running
"Ron DeSantis made this the greatest state in our union. I'd be honored to succeed him as Florida's next governor."
Byron Donalds, the frontrunner, is backed by $30 million from corporate donors and AIPAC money.
Fishback takes no foreign money. His allegiance is to Florida, not to donors.
